The sunsets were almost always this beautiful mix of orange and deep purple. This close to the equator, the question "when is sunrise/sunset" only needs to be asked once--it rises around 6:30 am and sets around 6:30 pm every day. Over the course of the year it only varies by 9 minutes--in July they get 12 hours and 2 minutes of daylight and in December/January they get 12 hours and 11 minutes.
