After we warmed up from our trek to Cedar Breaks, we met up with Denise, April, and Glenn at Applebees for a snack before we went to the Parowan Gap Petroglyphs. These petroglyphs were left by the prehistoric Fremont and southern Paiute Indians, and the site is now protected. We actually drove past it at first -- it's just a pull off on the road, without so much as a road sign. The main indication is a chain link fence around a section of cliff wall. There aren't many reasons to fence off a cliff, but petroglyphs definitely count as a good one.
