Pictures from the Remodeling Job -- Days 3 & 4

For the rest of the job, Home Depot sent David and a younger guy. When we were home we could pick up an occasional tip as David told his assistant the best way to handle the things they ran into during the job.


After the third day, most of the doors were on and David had installed the first drawer so that we could see what they would look like.	The black line running parallel to the countertop marks where the old backsplash used to be. You can understand why we wanted the new backsplash to cover that entire area.
After the fourth day, the refacing is completely done and the countertop and sink are installed. All that remains in the backsplash, which was finished the following Tuesday.
	The stove and microwave finally returned to their rightful places so that I could start really cooking again! We just had to be careful not to let water get on the dry wall until the backsplash could be installed.
