The migration is the thing to see on safari, and, while we didn't see any wildebeest crossing a river, we did get up close and personal with one herd.

The van in the background was one of ours, and it's where we spent most of our days in Kenya. The vans in Tanzania were similar, but slightly fancier. Besides being good for pictures, the pop-top provided air and a place to stand up and stretch. Which was wonderful after many hours on bumpy, bumpy roads...
