This is the Foro Romano, the Roman Forum and the
heart of the ancient world. It was here that Romans gathered to listen
to politicians, socialize, and be close to the Golden Milestone, from
which all distances in the Republic were measured.
Jen, especially, loved seeing it, because she's
been reading two series of mysteries set in ancient Rome. In both series,
the Forum figures prominently. Now Jen has a true visual to go with the
written descriptions.
