What would a play be without flying pigs? Behind the scenes: There is a chandelier over the table the cake is on, and when Merry said "flying hogwash", Joanne (the stunt coordinator) tapped a piece of cardboard that was resting on the chandelier. The pigs dropped off the cardboard and fell, then began swinging around on their fishline tethers. You can't see it from the picture, but the pigs have beautiful pink and black feather wings plus little goggles that Joanne made from translucent "lenses" of glue with black thread frames. |
