Our Pink Jeep Tour guide, Eric, tried to tell us that this was a memorial for the pink jeeps that couldn't stop in time and plunged over the cliff.

Then he admitted it was really a rock trap-they put pebbles in it and overnight the rocks appeared.

Finally he fessed up to the truth--that it's a trail marker showing hikers where to go when the trail crosses a large expanse of rock.
