Most of the riders camped in the main Ponderosa parking lot, nestled in at the foot of the mountains.

I thought this outcrop was particularly scenic. It's hard to see, but it's at the top of the center peak in the picture above.

This was our cozy campsite, set up in a pull-off that was blocked off so cars couldn't mow us down in the night. My tent is the yellow and orange one in front, Vicki's is the blue one next to me, Vic's is just beyond Vicki's, and the large one across the compond was shared by Suz and Kay. The white shade thing is covering this great kitchen set up that Vic provided.

This was one of the most important parts of our camp--the bathroom facilites. It was located down the road from our camp, and the nights were rather chilly, so you definitely didn't visit this particular spot unless you really had to. During the day, it transformed into a rather unpleasant torture device that you didn't go into unless you had to. (Anyone sensing a theme here?) <grin>

But for all that, it was certainly better than the alternative...
